This course will enable participants to understand the essential components of developing a coherent unit of study aligned to the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts (ELA) and to the designated student outcome. The broad categories of this AFT module include: Introduction to the ELA standards, instructional implications, differentiation, strategies and instructional support for English Language Learners and students.
