Dear Retiree Colleague:

I am honored to be elected the Washington Teachers’ Union (WTU) Retiree Chapter President for the ’09-’11 term. I am looking forward to continuing to take our Chapter in the direction established by my predecessor, Dr. John Taylor. We have, as a Chapter, established an organization which serves our membership by having meetings that provide information on many subjects of interest. However, our Chapter is, probably, most recognized for the variety of outstanding activities and trips, as well as, the opportunities for fellowship carefully selected and planned by our Program Chairperson, Martha Harrison.

Every single member of the Executive Board of your Chapter is a part of a team and I am looking forward to working with each of you. So, I invite you to become a part of the WTU Retirees Chapter and participate in activities with former teacher friends - old and new. Let’s see what this new term will bring.
